National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov plans to attend the international economic forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2024”. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the words of the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting of the organizing committee of the event.
As Minnihanov noted, during his foreign visits and meetings in the first quarter, the participation in the forum of representatives of a number of countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was discussed: UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Qatar and a number of other countries.
Rais of Tatarstan emphasized that the forum is of great interest to foreign partners.
“The high-ranking foreign guests planned to participate are the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, deputy prime ministers of Kuwait and Libya, members of the ruling family of Qatar, ministers of Malaysia, Libya, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Palestine, Uganda. There is agreement for a number of members of the government and parliament of our country to participate in the Kazan Forum,” added the head of the republic.
The forum of Russia and OIC countries “Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum” this year will be held from May 14 to 19 at the Kazan Expo IEC.
