President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahalliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of the velayats. The progress of seasonal field work in the country was discussed at the meeting, TDH reports.
As noted, currently, in accordance with agrotechnical standards, cotton is sowed, wheat crops are cared for, as well as potato and other vegetable crops are planted and cared for. In addition, work is underway to conclude contracts with silk producers and provide them with silkworm beans.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of sowing cotton and caring for wheat in accordance with agrotechnical standards, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to keep these issues under strict control. In addition, the head of state instructed to take preventive measures to combat agricultural pests in connection with warming.
During the meeting, the velayat hyakims, on behalf of the residents of the country, expressed gratitude to the head of state for the opening of new mosques in the holy month of Oraza and wished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people good health and success.
