Today the Trade Complex Exhibition opens in Turkmenistan. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed congratulations to the participants of the review and employees of the country's shopping complex, TDH reports.

“Today, the trade sector has set goals such as strengthening the country’s food security, increasing the production of import-substituting products, improving trade services, and meeting the population’s demand for consumer goods,” said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The head of Turkmenistan also noted that the country is carrying out large-scale work to diversify the national economy and widely introduce innovations.

– In this regard, we are pleased with the work being carried out to create high-tech production facilities within the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, increasing the range and volume of competitive products produced from local raw materials. In particular, enterprises producing yarn from cotton fiber, various fabrics, and the production of clothing products make a significant contribution to the intensive development of the economy. Currently, high-quality, environmentally friendly textile products of the Gala, Ýeňiş, Goza, Wada, Nusaý, Bedew, Bürgüt, Akpamyk, Merw, Jeýtun, Mäne brands are in high demand in the domestic and foreign markets, emphasized President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
