1. During the presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Anev - Culture from the Depths of Millennia”, Chinese Ambassador Qian Naicheng emphasized the importance of the ancient city of Anev as a monument to the thousand-year-old culture of Turkmenistan and a witness to the thousand-year friendship between the Turkmen and Chinese peoples. The Ambassador reminded the words of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty that the Turkmen-Chinese ties of friendship and brotherhood are rooted in the depths of history. In 49 BC. 3. The fifth meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation was held, at which laws developed in accordance with the state policy priorities of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program for modernizing the country’s legislative framework were considered and adopted. Representatives of a number of relevant ministries and departments, as well as the media, were invited to participate in the meeting.
4. A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and closing the International Mathematical Olympiad among schoolchildren took place at the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev in the city of Arkadag. The main heroes of the event were more than a hundred schoolchildren from Turkmenistan and around the world - participants in the International Mathematical Olympiad, held in Arkadag from March 26 to 29 with the support of and to commemorate the third anniversary of the creation of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund to assist children in need of care.
5. An exhibition of carpets and carpet products by Annabibi Islamova opened at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. Senior teacher of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts of the Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Annabibi Islamova presented more than 100 carpet products. Throughout his career, the teacher continues the traditions of Turkmen carpet art. The artist successfully uses the methods of Turkmen carpet weaving in the manufacture of various household products.
6. The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care was awarded a certificate from the UN Office in Turkmenistan. The certificate is awarded for valuable contributions to children in need and implementation of the core principle of the 2030 Agenda - “leaving no one behind”.

9. The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports announces the holding of “Open Doors” days from April 1 to 6. The event is intended for young people who want to enroll in college in 2024. During the open days, applicants will be able to get acquainted with the achievements of the university in the field of higher education, directions and specialties of training, educational, educational, scientific and cultural work of the institute. 10. Turkmen judoka Maysa Pardayeva won the bronze medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Antalya, Türkiye. Pardayeva became a bronze medalist in the weight category up to 57 kg, in which 44 judokas from 33 countries competed for medals. On the way to this success, the 19 years old athlete won five victories. Maysa became the second among Turkmen judokas and the first among women to win a medal at the prestigious Grand Slam competitions. Previously, the best result among women in the Turkmenistan national team was 5th place for Gulbadam Babamuratova.
11. A meeting of the Turkmen delegation with representatives of the International “Silk Road” Rally project was held in Ashgabat, during which important organizational aspects of holding this large-scale rally raid on Turkmen soil were discussed. The competition is scheduled for the period from September 9 to 15 this year. At the meeting in the conference hall of the State Committee, key issues were discussed in detail: route development, ensuring the safety of riders, medical support, organizing communications on the track and other aspects.
