In Seville, Spain, the Betis 7 Triana restaurant has introduced an additional fee for tables located in the sun. This news caused a storm of indignation among local residents and tourists. This was reported by 1prof.by.

Visitors to the establishment were surprised when they were informed that they had to pay an additional 10 euros for a place in the sun. There was no information about this innovation on the menu or on the restaurant’s website.

After the story went viral on social media, the restaurant's management responded to the negative reviews.

“Tables located in the first row of a restaurant terrace have long been called “premium” and have always meant a higher price. “All this is not only because of the sun, but also because of the view of the Guadalquivir River”, - says the response from the restaurant management.

This case is not an isolated one. In some establishments around the world, customers must pay extra for seemingly ordinary things. For example, in one of the bars in Rome, tourists were charged 2 euros for cutting a sandwich in half.
