In April, Turkmenistan plans to open social facilities, as well as large-scale cultural events dedicated to significant dates and holidays. Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammedova announced this during the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, writes the State News Agency.
The main events of the coming month will be celebrations in honor of World Health Day, Eid al-Adha and the National Turkmen Horse Day. Opening ceremonies will also be held for the section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway on the Tejen-Mary section and the reconstructed Yene Myahri medical center in Mary.
It is planned to hold Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan, an Exhibition of the country's shopping complex, a conference and an exposition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Ayhan Hajiyev.
In addition, joint concerts of a cappella groups from the USA and Turkmenistan are planned in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi at the State Music and Drama Theater named after Nurmuhammet Andalib in the city of Dashoguz and the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly.
Along with this, presentations of the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Anau - culture from the depths of millennia”, excursions to the Ak bugdaý National Museum, the monument to Seyit Jemaletdin, the Türkmeniň ak öýi building in the Nowruz ýaýlasy valley, as well as to historical and cultural monuments located in the city of Anau are planned.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to take measures to widely publicize the main events scheduled to be held in April of this year on the occasion of holidays and significant dates.
The head of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to organize opening ceremonies of social facilities at a high level. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of proper preparation for World Health Day and the National Turkmen Horse Day.
