A waiters' race was held in the center of Paris, in which 200 people took part. Participants had to quickly carry a tray with a croissant, a glass of water and a cup of coffee without spilling a drop. The distance was two kilometers. Onliner.by reports this with reference to CNN.

The race, which was revived ahead of the Summer Olympics, was watched by thousands of Parisians.

The first such race was held 110 years ago, and then the tradition was adopted by other cities in France and Great Britain.

The fastest waiters covered the distance in less than 14 minutes. The winners received tickets to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
