The first President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Mintimer Shaimiev, sent congratulations on the Nowruz holiday to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.
“I sincerely congratulate you on the ancient holiday of the Turkic peoples - Novruz, which marks the vernal equinox, the beginning of spring and the renewal of nature.
From time immemorial, Novruz symbolizes an appeal to the sun, peace, warmth and new good achievements. It is as multinational and diverse as our community of fraternal Turkic peoples,” the message says.
Mintimer Shaimiev, taking this opportunity, wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov health and longevity, happiness and prosperity, good luck and well-being.
