Eight unique watches from the collection of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher will be auctioned in Geneva on May 13. This was reported by MIR 24 with reference to Bloomberg.

One of the lots will be an exclusive copy of 2004, dedicated to Schumacher’s seven championship titles. This platinum watch with a red dial and a gold movement was presented to the driver by the team's sporting director Jean Todt. They feature the team logo and Schumacher's helmet. It is expected that the price of the watch at auction could exceed $1.1 million.

In addition, white gold watches (up to 270 thousand dollars) and other items from the Schumacher collection (up to 449 thousand dollars) will be exhibited.

Recall that Michael Schumacher suffered a serious head injury in December 2013 while skiing. Since then he has been undergoing rehabilitation.

The racer turned 55 in January of this year.
