The American company SpaceVIP offers to make the world's first space flight with dinner from Michelin chef Rasmus Munch. Munch is known for his Copenhagen restaurant Alchemist, where he creates unique gastronomic masterpieces.
The restaurant will be located aboard Space Perspective's eco-friendly Spaceship Neptune. The ascent to the stratosphere will be carried out using a balloon, permitting it to overcome 99% of the Earth's atmosphere. Elitethings.com reports this.
In addition to the restaurant, Spaceship Neptune offers the world's first space spa with plants, comfortable chairs and Wi-Fi. Costumes for space travelers will be created by the French company Ogier from high-tech materials.
The flight duration will be six hours.
No special training is required to fly Spaceship Neptune. The ticket price for one person is 495 thousand USD. There are currently 1 650 people in line for the flight. The start of space travel is planned for 2025.
