The first day of a large-scale exhibition presenting the achievements and opportunities of the private sector of the economy of Turkmenistan ended at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat. Today, as part of the review, a conference will also be held.

As TDH writes, dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the formation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, these events demonstrate the success and potential of domestic business, its significant contribution to the implementation of national programs and reforms of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, aimed at the innovative development of an independent state, the creation of potentially competitive industries, including export-oriented ones.

The opening ceremony of the review was attended by members of the Government, leaders and representatives of the Halk Maslahaty, the Mejlis, ministries and departments, public organizations, the media, foreign companies, as well as diplomatic missions of different countries and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan.

This year, more than 230 private companies, individual enterprises and manufacturers presented their expositions at a large-scale show organized by the UIET with the participation of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Among them there are also debutant exhibitors.

The stands contain information about the Rysgal Joint Stock Commercial Bank, the School of Entrepreneurship, which implements educational projects in various areas of professional training, the Bäsdeş Trading House, the Birleşme gurluşyk association and the country’s first private publication - the Rysgal newspaper.

The Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan has its own information section. A separate part of the exhibition reflects the work of the velayat branches of the UIET.

The central exhibits of the exhibition were architectural models of the Ashgabat City megaproject, as well as the new modern city of Arkadag.

On huge banners, videos advertise new products and construction technologies, automatic lines and mini-factories for the production of building materials, pumps and water treatment plants, panel and wall blocks, aluminum and plastic profiles, plumbing and finishing materials.

Local individual enterprises are establishing the production of dozens of types of building materials that meet international quality standards. This is clearly illustrated by the stand of Begler ýoly Individual Entrepreneur, which produces high-quality import-substituting products that are in demand not only in Turkmenistan, but also abroad.

Along with this, the exhibition presents the successes of private companies in the provision of transport and logistics services. This direction is of particular importance in light of the implementation by Turkmenistan of large-scale international projects in this area.

The number of exhibitors involved in chemical production, developed on the basis of the natural resources of Turkmenistan, has expanded. The stands advertising household chemical products are interesting.
It also demonstrates the capabilities of the private sector in increasing the production of consumer goods. Among them are the Röwşen enterprises, which have established the production of modern clothing, dress shoes and other popular products, etc.

Pavilions of manufacturers of sewing products from local natural fabrics and keteni, women's national silk scarves of various designs, colors and sizes are also presented.

Today, as part of the review, a conference will be held in the conference hall of the UIET office to discuss current issues of entrepreneurial activity. The main topics on the agenda of the forum will be the study of the possibilities of introducing the latest technologies and advanced know-how into private production, increasing the competitiveness of goods and services of individual producers, attracting consumer attention to domestic products, as well as a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of domestic entrepreneurship.

It is also planned to discuss the work done over the past year and the successes achieved, to dwell in detail on the implementation of priority tasks facing the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan to develop and modernize production, replace imports with domestic goods, as well as promote employment growth.

The current exhibition will last until March 19 inclusive. Upon completion of the review, its participants will be awarded the corresponding diplomas.
