The head of the Russian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat, Ivan Volynkin, summed up the results of the first two hours of work of the election commissions.
“As of 10:00, 385 people made their choice at five polling stations,” the press service of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan quotes Ivan Volynkin as saying.
The report notes that 9 applications were received for mobile voting in the interests of voters with limited mobility. Citizens come with whole families, and memorable gifts are prepared for young people voting for the first time.
Let us remind that on March 7, voting began in five cities of Turkmenistan for the election of the President of the Russian Federation. Polling stations are open in Ashgabat, Turkmenabad, Mary, Dashoguz and Turkmenbashy. Voting will last until 20:00.
