The final opponent of the Turkmen “Ahal” has been determined at the winter training camp in Antalya, Turkey. This was reported by the team's press service.
Today, February 27, Serdar Geldiyev’s team will meet the HJK team from the Finnish city of Helsinki. The game will start at 18:00 Ashgabat time.
“Ahal” is completing preparations for the start of the Turkmenistan Championship 2024. Serdar Geldiyev's team played 7 control games in Antalya, in which they won 1 victory and suffered 6 defeats. Ahal's opponents were the Ukrainian teams Obolon (1:3) and Alexandria (0:3), the Korean Gangwon (0:2), the Uzbek OKMK (0:3), and the German Freiberg (2: 3), Latvian “Riga” (1:0) and “Auda” (0:1).
Let us remind that last season Serdar Geldiyev’s team took fourth place among nine teams in the major league of the Turkmenistan championship.

In the new season, Ahal aims to regain the championship title, which was won in 2022.
