According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Turkmenistan, unstable weather is expected in Ashgabat this coming weekend. On Saturday, February 24, the capital will be cloudy with clearings, and at times there may be sleet turning to rain. The air temperature during the day will be +2°C...+4°C, at night +1°C...0°C.
On Sunday, February 26, wet snow is also expected in Ashgabat. The air temperature will be around 0°C during the day and -2°C...0°C at night.
In some regions of Turkmenistan, the air temperature these days will drop below zero. In particular, in Dashoguz and Mary velayats at night the thermometer can drop to -8°C.
Due to the unstable weather, the Hydrometeorological Center of Turkmenistan recommends that residents of the country dress for the weather and be careful on the roads.
