In Ashgabat, under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty, the highest body of people's power in the country, was held, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
At the meeting, priority tasks for the implementation of the country's socio-economic development program for the current year were discussed. It was attended by members of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty and the
Government, deputies of the Mejlis, representatives of political parties and public organizations.
Also on the agenda was a discussion of the Work Plan of the supreme body of people's power of Turkmenistan for 2024 in the main areas of activity together with government agencies and public associations.
The meeting was held in the Türkmenistanyň Maslahatlar merkezi building.
