A presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland” was held at the Dar Al-Sharq press center in Doha, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The event was attended by representatives of the Qatari media. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Qatar M. Seyitmammedov spoke about large-scale transformations in Turkmenistan and noted that the book highlights the achievements of the country’s youth policy, as well as the role of the younger generation in the development of the state.
The Ambassador emphasized that at the meeting of the TURKSOY Council, its participants supported the proposal of Turkmenistan to declare 2024 the Year of Magtymguly Fragi and the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to issues of information cooperation. The Turkmen side noted the importance of establishing relations with the Qatar News Agency, in particular with the Dar Al-Sharq press center. The exchange of news and information materials on key events in the two countries has been identified as an area of interaction.
