The Uzbekistan national football team won with a score of 2:1 over the Thai team in the 1/8 finals of the Asian Football Cup in Qatar.
Among the winners, Azizbek Turgunbaev (37th minute) and Abbos Faizullaev (65) scored goals. The losers scored against Supachok Sarachat (58).
In the quarterfinals, the Uzbekistan team will play against the hosts of the tournament - the Qatar team, which beat Palestine with a score of 2:1 in the 1/8 finals.
The meeting will take place on February 3.
