1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers using the digital system, at which priority issues of state life were considered. In particular, the issue of the upcoming reconstruction of the square “15 years of independence of Turkmenistan” in Ashgabat was discussed. As Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov reported, within the framework of the reconstruction in the 50-hectare park, it is planned to build two overhead pedestrian crossings, bicycle paths, canopies in the recreation area, swimming pools, covered parking lots, and install modern street lighting. It is also planned to carry out landscaping work on the territory of the park.

2. As Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev said, the country is currently carrying out large-scale activities to promote domestic products to world markets. There was information that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of relevant ministries and industry departments, had created an interdepartmental working group, which prepared an image of the national trademark “Made in Turkmenistan” and a draft Regulation on the national trademark.

3. Today Turkmenistan celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated military personnel and employees of the country's military and law enforcement agencies. According to the head of state, this holiday symbolizes great trust, high respect and boundless care for military personnel and employees of military and law enforcement agencies who defend the sacred independence of their native Fatherland, its sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutional system, inviolability of the State Border, ensuring the security of the country, public peace, implementation of national legislation and law and order.

4. On February 4, the commander of the “Roscosmos” cosmonaut corps, Hero of Turkmenistan Oleg Kononenko will set a new absolute record for the duration of a person’s stay in space. In this regard, the “Red October” factory prepared a special gift for him - chocolates with an exclusively natural composition. The sweet gift will be sent to the International Space Station by the “Progress MS-26” transport cargo ship.

5. A meeting was held in Moscow between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aydogdyev and the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy. A wide range of issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation were discussed at the meeting. In particular, they talked about the work of trading houses in both countries, about supply chains in Central Asia in the context of the development of the international transport corridor “North-South”.
