At the next meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a rich cultural program was presented for February 2024, declared in the country “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” writes TDH.
As Deputy Prime Minister Myahrijemal Mammedova said, in honor of the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen literature, art readings, creative competitions, and song and musical events will be held in February. A number of scientific conferences and seminars dedicated to the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi are also planned.
In addition, sports competitions will be held in the coming month, and the results of previously announced creative competitions will be summed up. All events are designed to adequately celebrate the anniversary of the outstanding son of the Turkmen people.
Summarizing the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in the year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi”, numerous socio-cultural facilities will be commissioned, as well as a number of events will be held that will demonstrate the achievements of Turkmenistan. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to ensure a high level of upcoming significant events.
