At the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev in Astana, a lecture was held by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov. It was dedicated to the youth policy of Turkmenistan and was held within the framework of the Year “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” announced in Turkmenistan in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet, the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department reports.
The lecture was attended by students from Turkmenistan, Russia, Belgium and Kyrgyzstan studying at ENU, as well as teachers, embassy staff and members of the Astana Diplomatic Club.
The Ambassador spoke about the priority attention paid to youth policy by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. He noted the role of Magtymguly Fragi in promoting the ideas of humanism and peace, and also presented the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Youth is the support of the Motherland.”
At the end of the event, students from Turkmenistan read a poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Fount of Reason of Magtymguly Fragi” in Turkmen and Russian. And Ambassador Rejepov inquired about the success of students in studies and sports.
