On January 26, the first festival of foreign cultures, Global Fest, will take place in Kazan. The event will take place at the Moscow Cultural Center and will be dedicated to the cultural diversity of the world, kzn.ru reports.
The festival will be attended by foreign students studying at higher educational institutions in Kazan. They will represent their countries through creative performances that will tell about traditions, customs and culture.
“The goal of the festival is to create an atmosphere of mutual understanding, tolerance and respect for cultural differences between countries,” said Shamil Yakupov, president of the League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Guests of the event will be able to enjoy dancing, music, songs, theatrical performances and master classes.
