On January 22, an official ceremony was held in Ashgabat, during which the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) transferred technical equipment to the State Customs Service, the State Plant Quarantine Service and the State Veterinary Service of Turkmenistan.
Technical equipment includes 208 monochrome and 2 color printers and servers for them for a total amount of 67 011,00 euros. The equipment will be distributed to all border control posts and regional offices to improve documentation processing capabilities.
According to the press service of BOMCA 10, “the transferred equipment will increase the capabilities in document processing and regulate institutional decisions on digitalization”.
