1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to accelerate the pace of seasonal agricultural work and keep the focus on preparations for the upcoming sowing season during a working meeting on the digital system with the velayat hyakims and the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the agro-industrial complex. As noted, in order to obtain a high wheat yield, work is being carried out in the grain fields in accordance with agrotechnical standards, and plowing and land leveling continue in the areas allocated for sowing cotton. Preparations for the spring sowing season are proceeding at the planned pace, in particular, agricultural machinery and equipment, and the cultivation of land allocated for planting potatoes and vegetable and melon crops.

2. The general agent of “Turkmenistan” Airlines in Russia announced the launch of connecting flights Moscow – Ashgabat – Kuala Lumpur and Moscow – Ashgabat – Ho Chi Minh City. Regular flights to Kuala Lumpur will be launched from February 15, and to Ho Chi Minh City from March 5. The flights will be carried out on wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft with a two-class configuration - business and economy.

3. New administrative buildings for diagnostics and registration of the technical condition of vehicles have been opened at the police departments of the Buzmeyin and Ak-Bugday etraps. The opening ceremonies of the facilities were timed to coincide with Defenders of the Fatherland Day and were accompanied by song and musical performances. Builders who distinguished themselves in the construction of objects were presented with gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

4. The leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan held online negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. The parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, as well as the use of the services of the transport and logistics system of Turkmenistan for the development of bilateral trade.

5. In Tokyo, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan Yoshimasa Hayashi. The parties discussed bilateral relations and prospects for further development of cooperation. The minister noted the high dynamics of development of relations between countries in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Regular political dialogue at the highest level was called the basis for effective interaction.

7. The Administration of the President of the Russian Federation purchased 105 Lada Vesta cars for Russian officials. This is the first step in implementing the President’s instructions on the priority use of Russian cars when servicing government employees. First of all, vehicles that have exhausted their service life must be replaced. Such cars will be sold at auctions, and the proceeds will be spent on the purchase of new cars and equipment for them. In addition, targeted subsidies are allocated for the purchase of domestic cars.

8. In February, the Turkmenistan judo team will compete at the international “Grand Slam” tournament in Paris. 680 athletes from 108 countries will take part in the competition in 7 men's and 7 women's weight categories. Turkmenistan will be represented at the tournament by 8 judokas.

9. The Tajikistan national team achieved a historic result at the Asian Football Cup in Qatar, advancing to the playoffs of the tournament for the first time. In the final match of the group stage, the Tajik national team beat the Lebanese team with a score of 2:1.
