The delegation of Turkmenistan led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov went on a working visit to Japan. The main purpose of the trip is to strengthen interstate relations, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Within the framework of the visit, on January 22-23, meetings are planned with the leadership of the Government, Parliament and relevant ministries and departments of Japan. Negotiations are also planned with the heads of financial and export credit agencies and major Japanese companies.
The agenda of the upcoming negotiations includes strengthening interstate dialogue, expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, and developing political and diplomatic ties. Special attention will be paid to building up trade and economic partnership between the countries, as well as deepening scientific and educational cooperation.
