The staff of the Avaza State Power Plant in the National Tourist Zone of Turkmenistan of the same name exceeded the electricity generation plan last year, writes the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The power engineers of the station, which provides electricity to hotels, sanatoriums and recreation and health centers in the tourist area, transferred more than 1 billion 133 million kilowatt-hours of electricity to consumers, fulfilling the annual plan by 104%.
The Avaza power plant is fully equipped with powerful gas turbines and equipment from leading global manufacturers. Each turbine operates independently, and an air conditioning system is used to maintain an optimal microclimate. The facility complies with international quality and environmental safety standards.
The station is connected by a 14.5-kilometer fuel pipeline to an automated gas distribution station, from where the operation of the turbines is controlled. An open distribution system and powerful equipment ensure the supply of electricity to the power grid of the seaside city of Turkmenbashy.
