By decree of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in accordance with paragraph 16 of Article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, Justice Adviser Myalikgulyev Serdar Gurbangulyevich was relieved of the post of Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan “for failure to properly fulfill his official duties and the low level of organization of the work of the prosecutor’s office,” TDH reports.
The head of state signed the corresponding order during an extended on-site meeting of the State Security Council, which reviewed the results of the activities of the country’s military and law enforcement agencies for 2023.
The Mejlis of Turkmenistan also agreed to the proposal of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov by adopting the corresponding Resolution.
