A new Boeing 777-300ER passenger airliner, purchased within the framework of the civil aviation modernization program of Turkmenistan, was delivered to Ashgabat International Airport, reports the “Turkmenhowayollary” Agency.
This is the second aircraft of this model that Turkmen airlines have recently received. The first one was delivered to the country on December 4 and is currently used on Ashgabat – Bangkok flights.
The second airliner is designed for 368 passengers. It is equipped with two GE90-115BL2 engines and is capable of transcontinental flights of up to 11 390 km. The maximum commercial load is 40 tons.
The newest aircraft features an increased level of comfort and includes cabins in three classes of service: 40 business class seats, 32 premium economy seats and 296 economy class seats.
