On December 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at the “Ruhyet” Palace, which was attended by deputy prime ministers, members of the State Security Council, as well as mayors of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.
Announcement of the 2024 motto and emblem
By a resolution of the Mejlis, 2024 in Turkmenistan was declared the year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” in connection with the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker. In accordance with this, a new emblem for the coming year was also approved.
The international cooperation
Representatives of a number of neighboring countries contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a request to translate into their native language the book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy.
