The head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, Ambassador John McGregor, sent congratulations on the upcoming 2024 to the Government and people of Turkmenistan, which was published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
In his congratulatory message, McGregor noted the successful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE in 2023.
It was noted that, together with BOMCA, within the framework of a project to strengthen the capacity of the Border Service of Turkmenistan, training was conducted for Turkmen specialists in the field of travel document security. Also in Ashgabat, with the support of the OSCE, a Center of Excellence in the field of cybersecurity was opened.
As the ambassador emphasized, the OSCE is actively promoting Turkmenistan’s accession to the WTO. The organization and the country are also developing cooperation in the areas of renewable energy, economics and ecology.
In the final part of the congratulations, the head of the OSCE Center wished good health and success to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. He wished inspiration, happiness and prosperity to the citizens of Turkmenistan.
