Our countries are connected by friendly, fraternal ties, which is a solid basis for the further expansion of interstate dialogue. Currently, Turkmen-Turkish cooperation is acquiring a qualitatively new content,” comments the source.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities for further development of mutual relations in the field of defense. In this regard, the proposals of the Turkish company in the field of defense industry were considered at the meeting, and relevant agreements were reached in this direction.
The businessmen emphasized that supplies to Turkmenistan of new modern samples of high-quality and widely in demand products produced by the companies they manage would be a worthy contribution to the further strengthening of partnership relations.
As the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted, the legal status of neutrality of the Turkmen state was twice recognized by the world community. The country's policy of positive neutrality is based on peaceful, good-neighbourly, fraternal and friendly relations. It is based on the international initiatives of Turkmenistan, voiced from the high rostrum of the UN General Assembly.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and Turkish businessmen expressed confidence in the further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
