The heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Russia held consultations on cooperation in the information sphere via video link, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The online meeting was held as part of the implementation of the “Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation for 2023-2024.”
The diplomats discussed the work of the press services of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, as well as the prospects for their cooperation both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international platforms.
In addition, the parties touched upon the use of digital technologies in diplomatic activities, in particular, the use of modern media tools for information support of foreign policy.
Special attention was paid to further strengthening cooperation between foreign policy publications of the two states.
The parties expressed mutual interest in expanding contacts and exchanges between relevant departments of foreign affairs agencies.
