The international seaport of Turkmenbashy, having updated the tariff system, creates new opportunities for transporting grain crops from Russia.
According to the press service of the port, currently at the bulk cargo terminal of the Turkmenbashy port there are 14 silos with a total capacity of 35 000 m3 for storing various grain crops, including wheat, barley and corn.
Also, thanks to the modern automatic conveyor system installed at this terminal, up to 350 tons of grain can be unloaded per hour from a ship directly into wagons, vehicles or a warehouse.
Moreover, for Russian shipowners who regularly transport grain and other cargo to Iranian seaports, it is possible to pick up return cargo from Turkmenbashy when returning to the ports of the Russian Federation, the source clarifies.
We previously reported that the Turkmenbashy International Seaport updated the tariff system.
