Analysts have updated the list of the most expensive cities in the world. First place was shared by Zurich and Singapore, second by New York, third by Geneva. The top ten also included Hong Kong, Paris and Los Angeles, reports “Habar 24”.
To compile the rating, experts took into account the cost of renting housing, food, utilities and medical services, and transport in 170 major cities around the world.
According to analysts, the United States leads in the cost of utilities. In Europe, public transport is one of the most expensive in the world, and Asian cities have the highest food prices.
The authors of the rating named Damascus and Tehran the cheapest cities to live in.
