President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on a working visit to participate in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The airliner of the head of state arrived at Sheikh Maktoum International Airport, where he was met by UAE officials and members of the Turkmen delegation.

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the relevance of the world climate forum, which is of great importance for the future of all humanity.

“Turkmenistan in practice demonstrates a responsible and proactive position in solving current environmental problems, as evidenced by the upcoming participation of the Turkmen delegation in the COP28 conference”, - the head of state emphasized.
