The delegation of Turkmenistan took an active part in the youth forum within the framework of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which is taking place these days in Paris, announced the “Watan” news program.

Turkmenistan is represented at the forum by Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to UNESCO Maksat Charyev, Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan Yazpolat Keryev, as well as a 4th year student at the International University of Humanities and Development.

The event provides an opportunity for the younger generation to share their vision of global challenges and propose solutions to UNESCO Member States during the General Conference. Such forums contribute to the involvement of young people in solving current problems and taking into account their opinions on the most important international issues.

According to the organizers, about 170 young people from more than 150 countries, as well as representatives of 33 ministries for youth affairs, took part in the forum.
