The business of destroying wedding photographs is becoming increasingly popular in China, writes gazeta.ru with reference to the South China Morning Post.
Wedding photographs are usually taken on acrylic canvases, which are highly durable and resistant to fire. As a result, divorcing couples often don't know how to get rid of photos taken together.
To solve this problem, Chinese entrepreneur Liu founded a company that specializes in destroying wedding photographs. The company guarantees clients confidentiality, and the entire destruction process is filmed.
To begin with, to hide images of people, the photographs are spray-painted and then placed in a shredding machine.
The cost of the service depends on the size of the photos. The highest price is 14 USD per photo.
