The II International Internet Olympiad in Chemistry among university students from 22 countries has begun at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, reports the International Research Center.
The intellectual competition brought together 710 students from 58 higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign universities. Participants compete in individual and team competitions.
The jury of the Internet Olympiad included professors from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Russia), Belarusian State University (Belarus) and Baku State University (Azerbaijan).
The online Chemistry Olympiad is held with the aim of identifying talented young scientists and strengthening connections between research centers of universities.
The closing ceremony of the II International Internet Olympiad will be on November 17. Winners and runners-up will be awarded diplomas.
