1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed Esen Aydogdyev Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation. At the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia, Esen Aydogdyev replaced Batyr Niyazliyev, who, according to the Presidential Decree, was relieved of his post “due to a transfer to another job”.

2. Great preparations are underway for the Harvest Festival in Turkmenistan. A number of events are planned on the second Sunday of November - the opening of a modern stable in the foothills of Kopetdag for 600 Ahal-Teke horses, a scientific and practical conference and celebrations at the International Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex.

3. In Turkmenistan, 3 149 178 users are connected to the Internet, said the chairman of the “Turkmensvyaz” Agency, Hajimurat Hudaygulyev, speaking at the “Turkmentel-2023” conference in Ashgabat.

4. The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted a Resolution according to which the administrative territory of the city of Arkadag will be expanded. Thus, 102 hectares from the lands of the Geoktepe etrap of the Ahal velayat and 17 hectares from the lands of the city of Ashgabat will be transferred to the administrative territory of the city of Arkadag. As emphasized in the Resolution, the decision was made with the aim of creating optimal conditions in the organization and management of urban services.

5. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution according to which the Ashgabat hyakimlik is permitted to conclude a contract with local enterprises for the design and construction of a new residential quarter. According to the resolution, as part of the project, 30 four-story houses with 40 apartments each and 16 houses with 68 apartments will be built in the Gurtly residential complex. It is also planned to build a secondary school for 720 students, a kindergarten for 320 students, a park, roads and utility networks. Work should begin in November of this year and be completed by September 2026.

It is assumed that the water turned glamorous color due to the proliferation of halobacteria in a salty environment. The decrease in fresh water entering the pond has led to increased salt concentrations and has become a cozy home for purple halobacteria.

8. The national football team of Turkmenistan, led by Mergen Orazov, has begun preparations for the matches of the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament. Training camps take place in Ashgabat. The head coach included 30 players on the extended list. In November, the Turkmenistan national team will play two matches: on November 16 against Uzbekistan at home in Ashgabat and on November 21 away against Hong Kong.

9. Turkmen fighter Eziz Penjiyev won by choke over Russian Sergey Tolmachev at the Fight Nights 120 tournament, which took place on November 10 in Moscow. The first round was even, with both fighters acting cautiously. In the second round, Penjiyev began to put pressure on his opponent and achieved a transfer to the ground. After an unsuccessful attempt by Tolmachev to move Penjiyev to the top position, the Turkmen fighter threw a triangle and forced his opponent to surrender. This victory became Penjiyev’s debut in the Fight Nights rings.
