Turkmen fighter Eziz Penjiyev won by choke (triangle, round 2) over Russian Sergey Tolmachev at the AMC Fight Nights 120 tournament, which was held on November 10 in Moscow.

The first round was even, with both fighters acting cautiously. In the second round, Penjiyev began to put pressure on his opponent and achieved a transfer to the ground. After an unsuccessful attempt by Tolmachev to move Penjiyev to the top position, the Turkmen fighter threw a triangle and forced his opponent to surrender.

Penjiyev competes in the bantamweight category (up to 61,2 kg). He is a master of sports in judo and winner of the Moscow Cup and Championship in combat sambo.

This victory became Penjiyev’s debut in the Fight Nights rings.
