The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care has sent humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Assistance is primarily intended for Palestinian children, as noted in the relevant Order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
“The humanitarian cargo consists of medicines and medical supplies, textiles, including clothing for children and bedding sets, as well as footwear and food products, and other goods”, - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan said in a statement.
The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order on sending humanitarian aid to the children of Palestine in accordance with the “age-old traditions of good neighborliness and humanism of the Turkmen people”, the Foreign Ministry notes.
