In the city of Balkanabat, Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan, after a major renovation, a modern 5-story multidisciplinary hospital with 300 beds for inpatients was put into operation.
Highly qualified specialists of the renovated hospital will make every effort to provide quality medical care and improve the health of residents of the region. The hospital has departments for diagnostics and consultations, surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, anesthesiology and intensive care, neurosurgery, urology and nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology, coloproctology, rehabilitation, dentistry, endoscopy, physiotherapy, maternity ward and a number of others.
The multidisciplinary hospital of Balkan velayat is equipped with modern equipment, which operates on the basis of the latest achievements of medical science. These are an Ingenia Ambition 1,5T magnetic resonance tomograph and an Acces CT computed tomograph manufactured by PHILIPS Medical Systems (Netherlands), 2 X-ray machines with fluoroscopy Flexi Diagnost, a digital fluorographic system Apolla EZ from Villa Medical Systems (Italy), 2 X-ray machines C- Endura BV arc, Melody III D mammograph.
In addition, the hospital has 7 operating rooms, which are equipped with equipment from the Swedish company GETINGE Group, including the new generation of anesthesia equipment Flow C, the multifunctional operating table Maquet, and the operating lighting source Volista.
Also, to perform minimally invasive laparoscopic, arthroscopic and thoracoscopic operations, doctors will be helped by 2 X-ray C-Arms Endura BV, as well as equipment from the German companies PHILIPS Medical Systems and Karl Storz.
The laboratory department of the hospital is equipped with: a HumaStar biochemical analyzer, a HumaCount 30 hematology analyzer, a Combylizer 13 urine analyzer from the German company Human, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent analyzer Humareader HS, Cobas Z480 PCR analyzers and an automated Magnapure 24 DNA extraction system from Roche Diagnostics (Switzerland).
The esteemed President donated Toyota Hiace and Toyota Corolla ambulances to the medical institution.
The overhaul of the hospital was carried out by the economic society Şadyýan gurluşyk, whose team of experienced builders made a significant contribution to the construction of many facilities in Turkmenistan.
