National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on a working visit to Kazakhstan to participate in the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). About this reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
At the Astana International Airport, the head of the highest body of people's power of Turkmenistan was met by officials of Kazakhstan and members of the Turkmen government delegation.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting is planned between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Since 2021, Turkmenistan has been an observer in the OTS. At present time, work is underway to join the country to the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic States. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan is a member of the Council of Elders of the OTS and actively participates in the work of this international structure.
