Mattel has released a new Ken doll wearing an I Am Kenough sweatshirt, inspired by Ryan Gosling from the “Barbie” movie. This is reported by gazeta.ru with reference to People magazine.
Pre-orders for the doll are accepted until November 14.
“Ken was created perfectly and deserves admiration and success. He alone was more than enough in the land of Barbie. “Thanks to Ryan Gosling's pitch-perfect performance as Ken, this hoodie moment inspired millions of people around the world and became an instant icon”, - Mattel said.
In the movie “Barbie”, Ryan Gosling's character tries to find his place in the world. In one scene, Ken wears a sweatshirt with the words “I Am Kenough” on it, which becomes a symbol of self-acceptance and self-confidence.
The film “Barbie” will compete for entry into the list of “Oscar” nominees for Best Original Screenplay.
