The State Bank of Turkmenistan will expand its cooperation with the international agency Fitch Ratings. Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov about the practical steps to be taken on the conclusion of the relevant document, reports the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan.
As noted, the strengthening of cooperation with authoritative rating agencies will contribute to the increase in the volume of attracted foreign investments, the simplification of credit conditions, and in general the further development of foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan.
Having listened to the report, the head of state noted the importance of strengthening the partnership between The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan and authoritative agencies of the world. The international ratings awarded to Turkmenistan by the Fitch Ratings agency increase the country's financial prestige, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, instructing the vice-premier to carry out consistent work in this direction.
