Kyrgyz programmers and software developers are working to preserve and popularize the Kyrgyz language in digital form, writes Arguments and Facts.
The Kyrgyz language has already been introduced into the Google Translate system, although the texts still turn out to be too robotic. A Kyrgyz version of ChatGPT called “Akylay” has also been created, in many ways similar to “Alice” and Siri. The bot knows about 5 million words in Kyrgyz, easily recognizes it by ear and can conduct simple dialogues and answer the most popular questions from search engines.
The developers plan to upload more literature in Kyrgyz to Akylay and make communication with him indistinguishable from communication with a person.
