Mamed Huseynov, art director of the Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov, sent greetings to the organizers and participants of the Mukama siňen ömür festival, which will be held in Turkmenistan in honor of the 85th anniversary of the great composer.

The creativity of Nury Halmamedov breathed life into the creative project of the Moscow Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov, conceived to popularize Turkmen academic music.
“Nura Halmamedov’s anniversary has special significance for our festival. It began its countdown in 2015 and began to be held annually, as it became obvious that not only Turkmen music, but also the musical art of other peoples was striving for revival. Thus, the festival received international status and proved its eventual importance in the cultural life of Turkmenistan, Russia, where about 190 ethnic groups live, as well as in the world cultural space. We believe in the great mission of the festival in Turkmenistan and wish it to become a landmark event for Russia, the CIS countries and for all Turkmens living in different parts of our planet”, - notes Mamed Huseynov.
