The popularity of the costume of the most famous doll in the world is explained by the success of the film “Barbie” directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie. “Barbie” became not only the highest-grossing film of 2023, but also the most successful project of Warner Bros. and the highest-grossing film in history directed by a female director.
In second place in popularity is the Princess costume (which one is not specified), and in third place is Spider-Man.
