The scientific pavilion at the Carnegie Science Center (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) will host an unusual exhibition, the exhibits of which will be 154 original artifacts carefully recovered from the Titanic wreck site, mail.ru reports with reference to the WPXI portal.
Exhibits include telegraph machinery, perfume bottles and labels, playing cards, passenger jewelry and utensils found on the ship. The exhibition organizers expect that it will be seen by at least 30 million people from all over the world.
In order for visitors to the exhibition to feel like full-fledged passengers of the infamous ship, they will be given a copy of the Titanic's boarding pass. They will visit his recreated cabins and even be in the shoes of drowning passengers - the organizers are planning to create a hall with ice water and an iceberg.
The exhibition will run from October 21, 2023 to April 15, 2024.
