As we previously reported, the Spelling Bee English spelling competition was held in Ashgabat.
Based on the results of the competition, which was attended by 70 representatives from 20 universities in the country, the winners were determined, including:
- two representatives from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University;
- one representative of the International University for Humanities and Development;
- one representative of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance.
The winners are invited to participate in the Central Asian Spelling Bee, which will be held in Dushanbe, according to a press release from the US Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Spelling bee is a competition in which participants must spell a word by reproducing its written, dictionary form.
