Media literacy training was conducted for student journalists at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, organized by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat.

The event also included a master class for journalism teachers, according to the university website.

The training was attended by teachers and students of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University of Humanities and Development, and the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

During the training, international experts, using global experience as an example, gave a comprehensive understanding of modern media literacy and its capabilities.

Participants also learned about the importance of the digital system in human life and appropriate ways to use it.
